La Red de Filosofía en el Mundo Rural, FiloPueblos, presenta su IV Encuentro Internacional de Filosofía y Ruralidades: La Tierra que Cuida - Vínculos, experiencia y alternativas ante las crisis del S.XXI, organizado en colaboración con el El Prial, la Caja Rural de Asturias y Taberna Narciso y que tendrá lugar en la El Prial los días 20, 21 y 22 de noviembre de 2026. 

Las comunidades rurales llevan siglos practicando formas de cuidado mutuo, organización colectiva y vida en común que hoy resultan filosóficamente urgentes. En un contexto de individualismo creciente, soledad estructural y agotamiento social, lo rural tiene algo que decir y mucho que enseñar.

En esta IV edición abordaremos los siguientes ejes temáticos:

- El cuidado como categoría política: Cuidar no es solo un acto privado. Es una forma de organizar la vida colectiva y resistir.

- Lo común y la pertenencia: Qué nos une más allá de vivir en el mismo lugar. Identidad, arraigo y vínculos comunitarios.

- Afectos y vida rural hoy: Soledad, duelo colectivo, celebración. Las emociones compartidas como práctica política.

- Tecnología y comunidad: Digitalización, redes sociales y nuevas ruralidades. ¿Qué cambia y qué permanece?

- Resistencias concretas: Experiencias reales de comunidades que cuidan, que permanecen, que inventan.

- Situación de crisis eco-social: Alternativas en marcha y por construir.

The Network of Philosophy in the Rural World, FiloPueblos, presents its IV International Philosophy and Ruralities: Defending the Legacy of Experiential Intelligence, which will take place in L'Infiestu, Asturias on 20-22 November 2026. The gathering is organized in collaboration with Santalla d'Ozcos municipal government.

In the I International Congress on Philosophy and Ruralities, organized by the Asturian Society of Philosophy in collaboration with the University of Oviedo and the journal Soberanía Alimentaria in the Asturian hamlet of Porrúa on 6-8 October 2023, we analyzed the different aspects of philosophical thought in relation to the rural world. The emergence of granting a continuity to addressing these philosophical issues necessarily led to the organisation of this II Congress of Philosophy and Ruralities: Revisiting the Habitat of Intergenerational Thought, which took place 8-10 November 2024 in San Martín de Teverga. Following these events, we want to continue the collective discussion and reflection the rural world, and for this reason, we present the III International Meeting on Philosophy and Ruralities: Defending the Legacy of Experiential Intelligence. The various activities various activities that will be held seek to vidicate the importance of traditionally unervalued knowledge and its transmission.
